About the Role:

The Frontend Software Engineer plays a critical role in making our business applications easy to use, driving adoption and simplifying our change management efforts. We work with UX/UI architects/designers to help build compelling designs and layouts. To ensure a consistent look and experience across our portfolio, we have invested in a Design System. This is maintained by our UI designers in Figma and then transformed into Angular components by the Frontend Software Engineer. We use Storybook to document our component library, and package them as NPM packages to be used in our various applications.

We are looking for someone who is excited about pixel-perfection and finding the best way to realize performing and easy to use components. This might include having constructive conversations with the designer to achieve better scalable and reusable components. It will also include working with software engineers to understand how they want to use your components and how to create the right abstractions and actions.

You will think about best ways to grow and structure component libraries, being mentored by more senior developers and engineering managers.

The role is hands-on and requires autonomy, innovation, and collaboration, with a strong focus on clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.

What Youll Do:

• Own the component library, developing, documenting and deploying components in Angular.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers/architects and software engineers to create the right level of reusable components.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration and deployment automation.
• Drive innovation by recommending new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Take full ownership of deliverables, resolving complex challenges with innovative and reliable solutions.
• Perform additional duties and strategic projects as assigned.

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in UI / software development.
• Tangible experience in working with designers and engineers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile delivery.
• Strong analytical thinking and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Experience as UX/UI designer and/or software engineer is a plus.

Must Have Skills:

• Angular / TypeScript
• Figma
• GIT and basic understanding of CI/CD (we use Azure DevOps)
